A charming story

Villa Petrus de Longemaison vieille photo

The building in “354 rue du clos devant”, in Longemaison in the Haut Doubs, is an old building that is dated around the 1900s. It takes up the codes of the old “Franc-Comtois” buildings, with its many large rooms and the use of wood and stone. It has been a welcoming and enjoyable for many years as “ dans l’t’emps” in the old days the francs-comtois would say, it used to be a bar and restaurant that also served as a hotel. Your host, Emma Petronela restored it, she wanted to bring a bit of modernity while keeping what makes the charm and the identity of this old Franc-Comtoise house. As a matter of fact, it is situated opposite a historical landmark, an old railway station opened in 1884 and closed in 1999.
